Position: Assistant Professor of Finance or Operations Management

The Williams School of Business at Bishop’s University (Sherbrooke, QC) is currently seeking to fill one tenure track position at the Assistant Professor level in the Finance or Operations Management fields. The position will be subject to final budget approval. We are particularly interested in candidates with demonstrated research expertise and teaching excellence in the area of Derivatives, Investments, Capital Markets, Risk Management, Operations Management or Quantitative Statistics. Completed PhD required. Candidates whose dissertation defense would be completed by the beginning of the probationary contract may be considered.
The candidates must show strong potential for teaching, research and scholarship consistent with the mission of the University and the discipline of expressed expertise. High quality publications and the potential for obtaining research funding are important, together with a demonstrated commitment to teaching at the undergraduate level in Business.
