Position: Tenure-Track of Assistant Professor in Quantitative Methods

The Faculty of Business Administration (FBA), at the University of New Brunswick Fredericton campus, invites applications for a tenure-track position in Quantitative Methods. The appointment will be at the rank of Assistant Professor and will commence as of August 1, 2019, or as soon thereafter as possible. This position is subject to final budgetary approval.
Applicants must have a PhD in an area related to Quantitative Methods (Operations Research, Operations Management, Management Science, Industrial Engineering etc.). Applicants who are ABD at the time of application will be considered but must demonstrate that their completion date will precede the start date for the appointment.
The successful candidate must have a demonstrated record of excellence in university teaching and research or evidence of the potential to develop such a record. Teaching assignments will be at the undergraduate and graduate level and will cover different aspects of the Quantitative Methods curriculum including Statistical Methods and applications, Optimization Theory and applications, Business Analytics, Project Management and Supply Chain Management. Candidates with research or teaching interests in Business Analytics are also encouraged to apply.
The FBA is innovative in its programs, curriculum design and outreach activities. It has more than 840 students in the undergraduate program and 100 students in the graduate program.
