Position: Lecturer in Information Systems and Operations Management (8-months contractual)

Subject to budgetary restrictions, applications are invited for an eight-month teaching term contractual appointment at the Lecturer rank to teach Information Systems and Operations Management courses. The position commences in September 2019. Applicants should possess a MBA, or MSc or earned doctorate or PhD in progress in Business or a closely related field, recent relevant experience teaching at the university and/or professional level, significant managerial experience in information systems and advanced data analytics and operations management. Applicants should have a demonstrated commitment to teaching as well as demonstrated sustained academic and professional engagement that reflects faculty practice-oriented development activities that support integration of relevant, current practice of business and management consistent with the school’s mission, expected outcomes, and supporting strategies. Appointment and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience, as stipulated by the MUN-MUNFA Collective Agreement. Course design and evaluation methods for all courses will be in accordance with the Faculty of Business Administration regulations and policies and the Memorial University Calendar.

Approximately 2,000 students are registered in the undergraduate programs of the Faculty, with another 200 students completing graduate programs.
