Position: Lecturer in Organizational Theory/Human Resource Management (4-months contractual)

Subject to budgetary restrictions, applications are invited for a four-month teaching term contractual appointment at the Lecturer rank to teach Organizational Theory/Human Resource Management courses at the undergraduate level. The position commences in January 2020. Applicants should possess a MIR or MER or MBA, or earned doctorate or PhD in progress in Business or a closely related field and significant managerial experience in human resource management, including employee recruitment and selection, in a corporate or non-profit organization. Applicants should have a demonstrated commitment to teaching as well as demonstrated sustained academic and professional engagement that reflects faculty practice-oriented development activities and a multi-disciplinary approach that supports integration of relevant, current practice of business and management consistent with the school’s mission, expected outcomes, and supporting strategies including the ability to leverage innovative platforms to aid business evaluation and performance. Appointment and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience, as stipulated by the MUN-MUNFA Collective Agreement. Course design and evaluation methods for all courses will be in accordance with the Faculty of Business Administration regulations and policies and the Memorial University Calendar.
